Veiled views

Drawing with charcoal from film projections. Then, with paint, trying to capture the transience of the scenes and express the distance between the viewer and the image created by its mediation through the camera lens and projection.

The paintings were constructed by first building the shapes and tones in coloured inks before knocking back the colour with thin white and more neutralised colours.
