About

'orasaigh' is the Gaelic word for tidal or 'ebb' island, a piece of land connected to the mainland by a causeway that is hidden at high tide and only accessible as the water ebbs away. This is my own island of creative output; a place to plant inspiration, record ideas and let creations grow.

I am a recent Art History and Social Anthropology graduate and am currently studying Painting. My interests lie in oil painting, sketching, and photography; I explore a range of subject matter but what excites me are images that are beautiful but also tell a story or have a meaning to be deciphered.
